milo ais ayah...

Just now I minum milo 3 in 1 kat kantin. Sambil sembang2… tetiba tgk milo tu dah jadi dua kaler, yg pekat kat bawah, yang kaler krim tu kat atas, kacau 3 kali jer suma dah jadi sekata balik. One prof from UM told me, yang dia dan team dia yang wat kajian pasal sedimentation of milo tu, nestle yang minta, diorg kaji samada bleh buat bagi tak sediment dah, tp diorg tak dpt, and diorg instead wat kesimpulan, yang hanya perlu tiga kali kacau minuman 360 degree the whole drink akan jadi satu balik….but that’s not the point lah

The point is, looking at the milo, somehow I remember one thing. The moment where complete sedimentation occurred. Yang air kat bhgn atas tu jadi completely krim, and bawah tu pekat milo. And I would drink without shaking it……pikir2 bila ek jumpa keadaan camtu…..then I remember…it was 17 years ago……………………

Everytime bila balik dari sekolah, tok ayah or ‘ayah’ akan bancuhkan milo for us. Maybe dia bancuh awal pagi, tapi dia simpan dlm peti ais, smoga milo tu jd sejuk bila time nak minum. Usually I would rush to peti ais sbb nak minum dulu. Milo ayah buat is the best in the world!! Remember how banji try to reverse engineer it. Duk wat teori, bancuh susu dulu baru taruk milo! Letak milo pekat dulu, kacau dulu baru tambah air….mcm mcm….tp mesti tak sama….

Ayah is a big musle man. Seingat2 nyer dia mmg tinggi dan ….tinggi…. sampai ke hujung nyawa dia dia masih lagi ada sense of humour, very knowledgeable person. Experienced. And one ciri I ingat is dia very very sabar. Although nampak dia cam pemarah. Tp hakikatnya dia sabar. Penyakit dia dah takleh sembuh, and dia redha minum air apa apa jenis tanpa gula for more than 10 years. Ada org petua makan nasi dalam upih pinang, and minum from tempurung, pun dia buat. Although if now I find that person seriously I would taji his head laaa…..apa kena ngena laa makan dlm upih pinang tu bleh wat org sembuh kaaa??

And ayah also gud at making telur goreng mata kerbau!! Telur kuning tu separuh masak, and berair and takkan keras walaupun kita simpan nak makan last sekali after nasik dah habis. Terletak elok jerk at tengah2 tu. White egg tu plak crispy, and sedap! Waktu angkat jer panas2 tu, ayah akan tabor sikit garam kat atas yellow egg tu.

Now when I grow up this big, I mean really bigJ I realize that I never said thanks to him. Thanks to his telur goreng, thanks to his milo ais. Thanks to his warm. Thanks for keeping me under pale of pillow waktu pocket kejar and me menyuruk belakang dia….

But then I realize…..dah lama tak tahlil kat ayah…..

Rahsia dia bukannya resepi, tapi makanan tu disediakan out of love. dan kita makan pun.. out of love. so sampai bila2 pun takkan ada bandingannya.

tapi a tribute to ayah.. antara yg banji ingat tentang dia, horlick dia... lagi satu ada satu ubat dia makan, ubat tu konon2nya ada semua mineral yg diperlukan. mahal gila, tapi bile banji minta nak minum, dia mmg bagi, sikit pun tak berkira ke marah ke.

teringat jugak, kadang2 nampak dia tengok kita main sepakraga, mesti teringin nak join kalau tak sakit.

masa tangan patah dulu, dia yg cepat2 nak antar pegi bomoh patah, tapi tak mau dengar bunyi menangis dan terus jalan... sampai tak dengar. nak balik tak larat... naik teksi, hehehe

he's really is a great man.. dah 13 tahun kan?
